Join us for a Resume Clinic & Program Application Assistance Session 📝🌐

▶️SLDA's Employment Connections & Development Office will be hosting their second 'Resume Clinic', where individuals can drop by to receive assistance with updating or creating a resume!

▶️They will be partnering with our Seniors Services Office, as they will be providing assistance with applications for various federal or provincial programs, including applications for the Canadian Dental Care Plan!

ℹ️Join us for this session on Tuesday, April 15th, from 2:00-4:00pm at the Town Hall in West St Modeste!

▶️Our first 'Resume Clinic' will located at our office, at the E.M. Taylor Resource Centre, on Friday April 11th, from 1-4pm!

Stop by during the designated hours to receive help with crafting or updating your resume. You can also leave your resume to be included in our database!

📣SLDA's Labrador Straits Volunteer Age-Friendly Communities Committee is thrilled to announce a photo challenge for this month!📸

🏆To be eligible for a prize, you must capture a photo of yourself engaging in the activities listed below, completing at least 15 out of 20 blocks.

📸You're welcome to share your photos on Facebook with the hashtag: #SLDAAprilChallenge. If you'd rather send them directly to us, feel free to share all your photos through our SLDA Facebook Messenger chat.

At the end of this month, if you have sent us photos of yourself completing at least 15 activities in the blocks, you will be entered in for a prize ($50 Gift Card from one of SLDA's Business Members).

This contest is open to everyone, and we look forward to seeing the photos!! 🙂
