Tracy O'Brien, Seniors & Community Support Coordinator, SLDA

Hello! My name is Tracey O'Brien, and I am excited to be the Seniors & Community Support Coordinator with the Southern Labrador Development Association.

L'Anse au Loup has been my home for more than 30 years. It has been the perfect place for my husband and me to raise our children — surrounded by wonderful family, great friends, friendly neighbours, a strong sense of safety, and endless things to see and do throughout the beautiful Labrador Straits.

Many of you may know me from my years serving at the L'Anse au Loup Branch of Eagle River Credit Union (now Atlantic Edge). I bring that same respectfulness, kindness, knowledge, and commitment to support into this new role. I am here to help with online forms, government applications, and navigating digital platforms of all kinds.

You can look forward to educational activities, training sessions, and information workshops. If you are part of a volunteer or community group and would like me to participate, please send me an invitation — I would be happy to join your activities and events. And in turn, I welcome you to join ours. Together, we will continue to promote inclusion, accessibility, and age‑friendly communities.
